Hanzhang Lai is an architectural designer currently based in Beijing, China, where she is an integral member of the MAD Architects team. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in Communication Photography from Syracuse University, where she was honored with the Faculty Prize for her joint thesis project, 'Dissolving Realities.' Hanzhang's dedication to her craft and meticulous attention to detail have earned her a reputation as a talented and innovative designer. In her work, she is passionate about exploring the impact of current-day architectural discourse on design decisions and how that could shape daily lives. Through her ongoing work at MAD Architects, she remains committed to expanding her skills and exploring new avenues for creative expression in architecture.
